Cooking and a Bit of Running

After a long day at work it's always nice to come home (at a reasonable hour) and cook a good meal. I love to cook but usually on weeknights I try and make something quick, preferably healthy and good.

So often when I make healthy food the taste is lacking, but thanks to Pintrest, I came across what has become one of my favorite blogs, it's called skinnytaste.com. I always visit this blog before I go grocery shopping because everything I have tried form here has be so good and best of all healthy (although you can't tell it's healthy).

Tonight I made Turkey Sausage and Tomato sauce over pasta which was quick and tasty.

After I put down these carbs I went for a nice long run while Daniel did school work. I'm loving having extra daylight when I get home from work, makes me feel like I can accomplish more.

March

A goal of mine this year was to blog more and I'm failing at this, probably because the Weaver Residence has been a busy one. Daniel turned 26 a few weeks ago and we celebrated by taking a trip to Oxford Ms. to watch Alabama's last regular season basketball game, they lost but we still had a good time. I also had his Alabama jersey framed, we just have to find a good place for it.

The next weekend we headed to Alabama for my sisters' baby shower,we were excited to see most everyone and can't wait forour nephew to be here in early May.

Daniel was on spring break for the past two weeks, it wasn't a huge break because he had projects to do and papers to write, but he only has 7 weeks left before he graduates. We can't believe how fast the past 3 years have flown by!

This past weekend my sister and her husband came to visit for one of their last Memphis visit before baby Phillips comes. We had fun just hanging out and doing some shopping.

March was busy but fun and we look forward to a full and exciting Spring.
