Nashville Getaway

I say this every time I post, but I need to do a better job of blogging! Currently we are staying busy, Daniel is on Spring break so he is enjoying this much needed break.

Last Thursday on a whim we decided to go somewhere, so Friday we headed to Nashville to just get away.

Two funny stories from the weekend, when we checked into our Hotel the lady behind the desk gave us a room that was already occupied, which wasn't discovered until I unlocked the door...awkward.

Secondly, the next day we were downtown Nashville sitting at a red light, when the large moving truck in front of us decided it would try parallel park, apparently he didn't see us because he very nearly hit our car, while both Daniel and I were in the car screaming, STOP, STOP, STOP, like the guy could hear us. Fortunately he didn't and we felt like crazies for screaming at a truck trying to get him to stop.

Anyway we had a great time, but I was really sad to find out that Opry Mills is still closed due to last years flooding.
